My preference is a standard dress shoe sole. I plan to only wear them at the office.

I would prefer standard leather soles too, or the Tomir..

I think the Tomir is a fair compromise for everyone. Durability and dressiness.

Assuming I can order a D width I would be in for option 1 with a Tomir or even York sole.

A separate GMTO has inquired about ordering in multiple widths so can follow up.

You can add me as an interested party but I can't fit into Carmina's narrow lasts.

Hey thanks for taking care of that. Let us know.

@TM79 Welcome aboard. We're doing this GMTO for the Rain last, which is a wide-fitting last, and I think the most forgiving they have. Any preferences on Adelaide vs punchcap? There seems to be some dissent here regarding that. I may just have to create a poll here.

Also does anyone have photos of the Tomir sole?

Probably Adelaide, at first glance, but I am open to seeing different images of options.

Here are images of the 10051, which I was able to try on at the Armoury in NYC.

I'm adding a poll of whether you want Adelaide vs. Semi-brogue. The order goes in on August 8, so I would like to get this up on Skoak's site ASAP. If you don't mind either one, you can vote for both. I just want the number to climb to 6.

Here is my opinion on the Adelaide vs., the SB. I said this to another member via PM who is interested: I really, really like the Adelaide, but I think it may be a little stylized for something that I want to be my most versatile shoe. Also, without the throat line stitching between the quarter and vamp piece, I can only imagine that the fit is harder to nail down and the shoe may be more likely to show wear over time.

I think the general consensus here is that the Tomir sole is the way to go. Dark brown edge. The lining we can talk about. I think two of you guys wanted purple.

Good luck gents, let us know when you have decided for a style and I'll post a GMTO link on our site. Note that the Carmina factory is closed and opens up on August 10 so we won't be able to process the order until after that. If you have any questions feel free to email [email protected]

I like this style much more than the Adelaide.

Are these two different suedes or just different lighting? Trying to comprehend what colour the dark brown suede looks like in real life.

Is this style but without the detailed punched toe cap an option?

Yeah they are all dark brown. It's just an amazing color that has various nuances in different lights.

The option 3 I posted in the poll is the variation without the medallion in the toe. Probably my favorite one. If that's the one you prefer, you should vote for it. It would look like this:
