Wanted to share my Alden Indy Suede converted to Dainite.  Originally it had Red Brick and changed to dark brown dainite.  I really like the look.

Have a good week all

very nice.  I got a killer deal on a pair of black indys and have some danite sole being put on them right now at Bakers in Eugene, Or.  pick em up any day and will be used a ton this winter.  only have danite on a pair of AE McAllisters which is altogether different.  I do love the suede with your sole particularly.

Sazon, Brass just really pops on dark leather.  looks great!  Are those green laces?  whatever color, looks cool at least on my screen

Alden x Jcrew, antique edge done by myself....being in australia we have zero allen edmond products available so i burnished the edges and used allen edmonds chilli cream polish on the edges (i had from my move from canada) and then a few layers of saphir reno and brushed until my right arm fell off.

Looks good!! Next step is brass hardware or removing the finish on the current eyelets and speedhooks because the speedhooks are covered by a leather strip on the back and my local cobbler said he wouldn't recommend doing the swap...

Back from Randy the cobbler. Bought from Alden of Carmel and modified with brass eyelets and antique edging.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I've done my own antiquing a couple of times but you've got me beat. You did a really good job. I do agree that brass hardware would also add to the look. Good luck.
