Got you on my list, along with your preferences. We'll have an official discussion thread on Reddit in about a week or two, since >80% of interested parties are there. Will keep you posted.

Looking sharp, TTown! :fonz: Is it cumbersome to button / unbutton the boots without the tool?

Will second this.  Definitely will not be wearing these anywhere that I'll have to take them off and put them back on! Buttoning them up takes a fair bit of effort (hopefully that'll get better as I get more skilled with the button hook) but I see that as part of their charm.

Such fantastic boots.  Now I'm pondering getting another pair of button boots with a tweed shaft.  Does Enzo do that?

Soooo does that mean Enzo won't do it, or that we haven't had them do it yet? :)

Oh no, that's disappointing.  My next button boot may need to be St. C due to my love affair with tweed.

I'm interested. Is this a leather sole or danite? Because I prefer the latter.

Back to discussing Hippo makeups, I posted an idea on reddit and wondered if anyone was game (or had suggestions):

Black Hippo Wholecut Chelsea Boot

946 Last

270 degree handwelt

rombe on the waist (a rounded waist)

black millerghe soles

black welt

Basically this:

Except blacked out and in black hippo.

Didn't see the Reddit post. I might be interested in this instead of the brown hippo derby boot. Though I would honestly prefer any last but 946...
