Making alterations to Suit Supply suit

Hello all. I recently purchased a Suit Supply lazio linen suit. Unfortunately, since it wasn't possible to let out the trousers in the smaller size 38R I had to size up to a size 40R. While this size does fit my waist/thighs, the jacket is about an inch too wide on the shoulders. Suitsupply recommended narrowing them, along with some other alterations, but I was wondering if it would be wiser to go with a specialist alterations tailor. From what I understand narrowing shoulders is a difficult job, and I wouldn't want SS to mess it up. On the other hand, their alterations tailor(s) will have more experience working with their cuts/fabrics, so maybe I should go with them on that basis.

I should add, I'm based in London, so my alternatives for tailoring would be Ramon Tailoring on Savile Row or those two Italian brothers working in Soho.

MIght just be cheaper/better to get MTM at SuSu? That way you get pants & jacket that fit.

Thanks for the replies. I did ask at SS about having a suit made in the same material (linen) and was quoted £800 - which is way beyond my budget, unfortunately. Then again, the sales assistant might have been referring to their bespoke service rather than their MTM, so may be worth rechecking. I've already had a look in the SS NYC thread on here, but might have another dip in to see if I can find any insight on this issue.
