Yeah not too fussed about colour lining too. My preference would be brown. If it's red or green I would prefer it to be in a darker shade.

very nice! and the price is great, wish this is not an oxford and in another color (thinking chocolate/coffee)
BTW, any idea what pants/socks will you wear with a suede oxford?

From Gabriel:

"For lining, we normally just used the standard natural color (which Carmina calls Whiskey).

We will help you with posting a link on our website later this week, after you give me a confirmation, where all participants can pay their deposit."

I'm totally fine going with what Skoak normally uses. As I said, I don't see a reason to do much with the lining, unless there are strong opinions. Shall we make "Whiskey" the default?

I think we are just waiting on one of our six to try on the Rain last for the first time and make sure it fits.

Still, I would like to get a few more. Once the link goes up, Gabriel suggests that others will then sign on. Nothing like an actual opportunity to spur people into action!

I'm excited about this make-up. It will really be great.

I'm fine with Whiskey lining. Red, Purple or other colorful linings can actually peek out at the collar or sometimes around the lacing, causing unwanted distraction.

I'll sign up for this MTO.

Rain last, polo suede, semi-brogue, single leather sole...all sounds good to me. I'm in.

Where do I pay?

@Andy57

I think we might have a seventh. Keep them coming folks. Andy, please confirm here by leaving a post (sorry, Cross Post).

Skoak will probably set up something on their website to take payments for this GMTO later this week (Thursday or Friday). I will let you know.

Ok, I feel pretty good now. A little over a week, and we have what looks like 7, and I suspect a few more will trickle in.

Let me know if anything changes.

I wear a 10uk on the Simpson last. Should I size up or down or by halfs or stay the same for rain last

I'm 8.5 UK in Simpson and 8 UK in Rain. The 8 in Simpson was too tight in toe box. CW says size up half from Rain to Simpson. Double check in SKOAK thread. Others have same exp?
