And people are saying that it's been a bad year for truffles. I know I didn't get to eat any, yet again.

I'm on a strict budget right now so i haven't tried, but why not try Oregon truffles?

Really? I've heard that they are different, but still good. I've read that when they started harvesting them people didn't really know when to pick them so they would harvest too soon or too late, which would affect the flavor, but that they are getting better. They're also in season a bit longer.
