Schiesser "Revival" underwear - what is their sizing system?

Is anyone familiar with the sizing of Schiesser's underwear products, or more specifically their "Schiesser Revival" stuff? I'm going to buy a pair of boxer-briefs soon to give them a try, but it looks like they're sized by numbers 1-10 or something - from my understanding, a 6 would be a size 32, but what would a 7 be? A size 34?

The ones that I saw in a local store are similar to these I think: http://www.backin10minutes.com/item/...-briefs-black/

That's the usual sizing system used in Germany:

4 = S
5 = M
6 = L
7 = XL
8 = 2XL
...

The board has been eating some of my posts lately too.

I've been aware of their boxer/briefs for awhile, but never have felt like buying any because of the cost. I'd figure that I should give them a shot to see if they're worth it though, as I'm already spending $25+ dollars on pairs of boxer briefs now anyways.

i find schiesser product to be very true to size but with underwear, i often buy one size up because once you wash and dry it a few times, you' ll find it tends to shrink

I'll probably hang dry them after washes if I get them, but how much shrinking are we talking? Several inches?

Beenl thinking about these for about a year but still haven't pulled the trigger.

Which size would equal a 34?

What's L considered in Germany, 6? Too many ******* numbers.

Jet,

I bought a size 7 and I'm usually a 33/34 myself. I've only worn them about four times in the month that I've had my pair, and I've been pretty happy with them in both the materials used, and the overall fit. Women have also approved. At $75ish a pair I'm not rushing to buy more right away though, but if they hold up nicely through spring I'll consider some more next year.

Thanks robin, I'm the same size as you. That seems somewhat large but if you are satisfied then I guess I'll give them a shot. Luckily I can get somewhat of a discount but when I first handled them I was impressed. One of the henleys had mop buttons sewn on with silk ribbon, it was too beautiful.

Yeah, the henleys are pretty nice (slim too) and I might look into trying one of those later as well. As for the sizing on the boxers, I think the waist on the 7's are about 13" or so unstretched.

It was the Holiday season. I'm sure Aunt Dot, Grammy and the rest of the fan loved them.

...just btt - a 4 is more like XS, 5 is S and so on...

...great t-shirts! Got some black v-necks - only problem I could find with those is, that the v is so small that the t-shirt is still vissible under a shirt...
