Talbott ties

My grandma has made ties for Robert Talbott for the last 20 years and at her house she has about 8 large garbage bags full of extra fabric.  I am going to visit her next weekend and she said to pick out any fabrics I like and she will make me whatever ties I want, so I was wondering if any of you guys had pics of some of your favorite Talbott ties so I might get an idea of a couple of the patterns I should choose.

She actually retired from Talbott last year but she has the garbage bags full of fabrics that she has accumulated over the years, so now she just makes ties every once in a while if someone needs one for some reason. Im gonna try to take some pictures of the different fabrics when I go over there to see if anyone has any suggestions.

I'm not really sure what different kinds she made, she worked at their place in monterey. She just gave me 5 ties that she had sitting in her house, 2 of them say best of class and the other ones just say robert talbott

Get her to use self-tipping and a self-keeper and you'll have a nicer tie than Talbott itself produces.

Take a look at this thread. You'll know more about ties than anyone else on your block after you read it.

For those of you who have fallen asleep waiting for that thread, here's the original one from this forum.

Here are two of my all time favorite Talbot ties.  I bought them at Nordstrom almost 20 years ago, and I still wear them.  Beautiful woven fabrics.  I don't know that I've ever owned ties made of nicer fabrics.

I was under the impression that all Talbott ties were made in the US. Are those 7-folds?
