Yes, I would be out. But doesn't mean much. For me it would be more like

Chukka in cafe brown or tobacco chamois
2030 last w/partially structured toe
Stitch down construction
Crepe sole

We're so close on this! But I respect your decision.

Maybe we could see a mock up of that? Is that possible? I'm trying to see if I can find a 2030 that I'm willing to give a try...

Maybe I should order a 2030 from Mr. Porter, try it on for a visual and return it. Not something I'd be proud of but there are no Viberg stockists down here so no other options really and I just can't embrace that last (yet).

Reposting this in case anyone missed it.

-110 Last Service Boot
-Beige Cafe
-Unstructured Straight Toe Cap (Plain Toe Semi-Structured would be good too)
-Dainite Sole
-Stitchdown

Also a 110 Boondocker on Commando would be good ****.

Only way to know for sure is to try it. I didn't like how pointy the toe is. It also pinched my toes for that same reason and I don't have particularly wide feet (I'm a D). I just like the shape and feel of the 110. So comfortable. Also seems to represent the classic chukka best. Here is Clark's version...been around forever and definitely not pointy:

That's intriguing to me. I do like that Beige Cafe. And you know how I feel about the 110!

Yeah, I'd probably need the 110 out of necessity. Fok said it seems to be a hard wearing leather and it looks very nice, I'm not usually a fan of lighter toned leathers.

That looks right to me. Same with your chukkas and same with McQueens chukkas. I don't think McQueen would wear a 2030 lasted boot.

Rydenfan's quote is from the Viberg AMA on reddit. It had a lot of info in there, definately worth a read through. Anyway, what Brett meant was that the 110 last was designed for work boots. So it is great for working in, but for casual wear it is not good. The wide heal is great for comfort when you are standing all day, but makes it tough to get a good fit for fashion purposes

Thanks for clarifying. From my own experience, I find it to be super comfortable and great for casual wear. It's not like Viberg makes orthopedic shoes - they are all fashion forward in my opinion.

Thanks for clearing that up......But when I wear boots, I'm wearing them most of the day many times. Or mid day through late evening on others. The tough fit for fashion part I'm not getting. Does the heel prevent jeans from stacking? Does it look unfashionable? Sorry to not fully get it...

So is the 110 heel must considerably wider than the 1035, or any other last? Wonder if Raneleigh finds that to be the case.

I dug up the exact quote. It was actually from Guy, not Brett. Here it is:

"The real issue with the 110 (i have two pairs of boots on it that i still wear) is the waist and the heel. It was never really designed for casual wear. The people who have been really vocal about it seem to prefer the width in the forefoot, but i'd be surprised if anyone was getting the right fit through the ankle area. Also, the shape just simply doesn't work with some of our new patterns and options. At this point we can only utilize it on a couple of styles."

I don't find it to be particularly wider than my 1035's or even the 2030's I had. The difference is most felt in the toe box. I'm on my feet a good part of the day and the 110 is very conducive to comfort. I'm a bit fashion conscious too I guess you could say and I never find them to be anything other than edgy and cool. They wear great with jeans and chinos, what I wear most days.

I guess that explains why it's not oft seen compared to the 2030. But it works on service boots and on chukkas, that we know. It also works on oxfords, so I'm not sure what bases it doesn't or hasn't covered in terms of styles.
