Engineered Garments FW 15 - Page 44
I have B1Ps, fatigues and cinch pants all from different years/seasons - no type 6 jeans - and the B1Ps certainly have the "highest" rise. and they're the most lose fitting, overall, of the three, but, again, different seasons/years. hope this offers a little insight.

I would cross check the Nepenthes official site (nepenthes.co.jp). Their measurements appear to be more accurate than those displayed by the TBB.
TBB measurements are accurate. I had type 6 jeans in a summer weight denim and also have a few fatigues. The jeans have a ridiculous rise for a pair of jeans -11.75" on a size 32 ! The fatigues are 11.5" which isn't much different but they are slimmer in the top block which gives them a more flattering fit than the jeans. Not sure why Daiki decided to give the jeans such a high rise + roomy top block as it just gives excess creasing and awkward fit at least on me. Anyone else tried the jeans and had the same experience ?
Edit : Found a couple of pics of how the type 6 they fit. Dad jeans anyone ?
Is federal worth a stop? I'm swinging through town next saturday through monday night and always looking for new shops. (Meaning, how interesting have their buys been in the past?)
for dc menswear it's the best imo. the fact that they carry EG would be enough reason for me to stop in if i was from out of town (and not from somewhere that had an EG account). they also have a very small selection of visvim gear. aside from those two, most everything else is pretty standard fare. some filson, levis, red wing and alden shoes, moscot frames, tsovet watches, etc.
