The Black power salute is given w/ the right fist. I'm pretty sure story here is that the bronze winner (Mr. Lefty) forgot his glove, and borrowed the gold winners unused left glove....

heard an interview with these guys recently. it was a last-minute decision and they only had one pair of gloves. and apparently, the white guy wanted to do it too, but of course there were only two gloves.
