My mom always added corn to the panckake batter. Corn in Pancakes are fantastic. Don't knock till you tried.

Actually Denny's now offers cornmeal pancakes on their menu - i've had them and they taste pretty good

Cornmeal pancakes are awesome; my mom makes them all the time. Not straight cornmeal pancakes though, essentially normal pancake batter with cornmeal added. Not like an arepa.

As a kid, my friend's mom would serve us bowls of popcorn with handfuls of M&Ms mixed into each bowl... anyone else ever try this?

Pie floater - a meat pie floating in a bowl of pea soup. When he was little, my son used to dip fries in chocolate mousse.

Its actually not too bad...add a fried egg and it's all good. I used to eat eggs with ketchup and white rice quite often as a kid.

here it's common to add fried egg with rice.... but we douse it with soy sauce, not catsup. that is so uncivilized!

what actually would taste even better ( and spicier) is by adding to the rice, egg, and soy sauce ,

the red spicy pho sauce that is found in that squeeze bottle.

I can see the appeal. When I go to the movies, I buy both hot buttered popcorn and Raisinettes. Pop both in your mouth at once for one of the greatest flavor sensations on Earth.

Actually my mom adds rice + ketchup + egg and fries it all together, in Hong Kong its called Western style fried rice. I find, cheese ramen odd. Peanut butter & Jelly was the weirdest sounding thing in the world when I first encountered it
