For Sale:
SOLD!! Rare Allen Edmonds Austerity Brogue 10.5 3E

Will Ship To: CONUS

PRICE DROP: $275 >> $250 >> $225 >> $200

Hello Friends,

I'm selling my customer Allen Edmonds "Ardsley Park" austerity brogues. These were a personal MTO of an experimental linen/calf web gem style during the summer of 2014, and as far as I'm aware is the only actual pair of austerity brogues in full dress calf that AE has ever made. Made on the famous 5-65 last in size 10.5 3E (extra wide) in dark brown burnished calf. I originally paid $385, and even that was a decent enough deal, considering just how rare an AE austerity wingtip actually is.

These are in almost new condition, and absolutely gorgeous. I've worn them only 5 times or less. I'm selling because AE mysteriously included a full sockliner (that I didn't request), which changes the fit of the familiar 5 last very slightly, making it a touch more snug. Also, it was made with a Dainite sole (I also didn't request), which I don't prefer. And also...I have too many dress balmoral shoes.

Enjoy. Shipping is a flat $10 USPS to CONUS. Other couriers available upon request. Includes original box and flannel shoe bags.

SHOE TREES ARE INCLUDED.

Thanks for watching!

New here. These are nice looking shoes. I'm a 10EE with a pretty square foot. More of a 73 last foot than a 65. Are idea how these would fit? If I had a way to try another 10.5 EEE 65 last shoe I would.

Hey man. The 65 last is long and narrow. So while the width may be ok, the shoe will likely be too long for you. 10.5 fits like a brannock 11.

Yeah, still trying to figure this out. When I got fitted at an AE store they told me to expect extra length in any shoe that would fit. Ball of my foot is further forward it seems. My Fifth Ave. are 10.5 EEE and fit ok. Not the best fit, but acceptable. My 10.5 EEE Sanfords (7 last) fit perfectly.

Well, it's possible these will work out for you, since there's an extra sockliner that makes it a little snugger, but I wouldn't promise anything.

Hi Pepper,

Exactly how snug does the sockliner make these?  These are gorgeous, but I typically wear 11D in the 5 last

As much as I'm dying to sell these now (for the sake of closet space), I can't recommend this pair for your feet. The sockliner moves your foot further "up" vertically, so if anything feels more snug against the instep. But if you're an 11, you're going to have problems. The is, of course, unless you think there's a chance that your original sizing wasn't accurate.
