"loro piana" overcoat Here's the same coat in navy but with close-up of lapels Any thoughts on this coat? I'm guessing it's a no-name but the tag kinda looks like a zegna tag... Regardless, it's advertised as a loro piana coat. Also, the seller is in the netherlands, should i take a pass?

It looks to me that just the fabric is Loro Piana. It might be a decent enough coat, but you can get the very same thing with a Neiman Marcus or Saks house label at the end of the season for a similar price.

I'm pretty sure that that is a Loro Piana label on the sleeve, and the tag hanging from the button looks just right.

i have two loro piana coats and neither say on the inside label "fabric by ....", it just says "... loro piana ..." as such, my guess is that the coat is not a loro piana but a coat using loro piana fabric

Hermes is right. it is only the fabric that is Loro Piana. The coat is not made by Loro Piana.

common trick on Ebay nowadays, along with the absolutely horrid keyword spamming trend. I've passed on many auctions of what are probably fine items, but I couldn't get past the seller trying to misrepresent the item. It is NOT a Loro Piana coat, and he shouldn't be calling it that.
