How often do you go through blades? (when shaving your body)

When you shave your whole body, how often do you go through blades? I seem to dull the blade by the 2nd time I shave; I use a Gillette Fusion with 5 blades.

i think that this would vary from guy to guy depending upon how hairy a guy may be

the coarseness or thickness of each guy's body hair would also vary and therefore be a factor for blade life

That's what I was assuming, however, I'm shaving very short hair now and I think it theoretically should last longer. Unless I'm misreading how much blade life is still left and I'm throwing it out prematurely.

btw, shorter hair does not necessarily mean thinner or easier on the blade.

The one that bikes (and competes once in a while), swims at least twice a week (laps for exercise) and frankly looks better sans hair than with.

I dont shave my whole body, but I do keep my burly chesthair in check by skimming the razor over it and thinning it out... Other than that... only face for me...
