I never ask these questions here but I'm drawing a blank. My oldest friend is celebrating his 30th birthday in July (we've known each other since kindergarten). He's very well traveled (works in Europe, travels for work and vacation everywhere), makes good money (don't know how much of course but lets say we're celebrating in Vegas and much of the trip is paid for - we just have to pay for our flights). So I'd like to get him something nice - not necessarily expensive or flashy. I want to say thoughtful but damn I can't think of a thing. So here's some additional details about him:

Parties (happy to buy bottles) but rarely gets drunk - so no point buying him booze or a nice flask.
Doesn't smoke - so no cigars or nice smoking related accessories.
Not particularly flashy or dressy though he has some nice designer items
Works in software.

- I'm aiming on planning a dinner for him while we're in Vegas (which is a ***** given the size of the group is 8-14 people) since he's taken care of the nightlife and rooms for 6 of us. Would like to do more, knowing him though he probably wouldn't expect anything.

Not looking for a magic bullet but some general ideas would be great and hopefully would get my imagination working. Maybe even some websites with interesting stuff I could browse through.
