Official 2015-2016 college football thread - Page 21

We can pretty much guarantee that the top 4 today are not going to be the top 4 in a bit over a month. That said, I do think the top 4 at any given time should be accurate. Clemson at #1 and ND at #5 to me do not reflect reality. I think Clemson should be in the top 4 most likely at the moment (though their Clemsoning may be inevitable), but there's no way I'd put ND ahead of either of the undefeated Big 12 teams.

To me it doesn't matter who's ranked 1-4 as long as the top 4 are accurate. Putting Alabama in the top 4 is a joke since all of the arguments you can make for having them in the top 4, a better argument can be made for Florida or Utah. There's no way Alabama deserves to be in the top 4 at this moment.

Lots of rumors flying around right now about Pruitt being out at UGA, effective immediately.

Things might be about to get very ugly for my beloved Dawgs. frown.gif

How are they blaming Pruitt for this mess of a season? Defense hasn't been lights out, but "not having a QB" has been a lot bigger issue.

edit: apparently he's been having confrontations with other coaches off the field.

I agree it's insane to blame him, and I think losing him could be a disaster.

But, yeah, your edit is correct - all of the rumors focus on his behavior, not his coaching ability.

UGA is now saying it's all rumors, and Pruitt is still there and working.

I should've known better. After reviewing the entire game film, a game in which Duke was flagged for 5 penalties and Miami for 23 (not an atypical ratio for a founder vs. FSU/Miami game), the ACC has "privately" apologized to UM. Saw it on twitter, can't find the newslink right now.

This is true but Miami had five (IIRC) holding penalties so they were clearly not disciplined, either.

Discipline by Miami? What's next. Expecting discipline from the Oakland Raiders? Lol.

Is this the weekend Clemson gets used as a verb again?

Have any of you guys been to a game at Clemson? It looks like a great football venue.
Florida St's defense is doing well.
Fuck I hate the incessant "chanting" music by the FSU band! I wish there was a way the producers could filter that out.

Holy shit, I just saw a targeting call reversed on replay during the OK St-TCU game.

Guess not. I've got to give Clemson credit for playing 59 minutes of fantastic defense. Very solid game.

Same thing happened in the Ohio State-Minnesota game.

The end of the Ole Miss-Arkansas game was icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Great game. Great finish.

And Bama definitely deserves to be in the top 4.
