2 Brioni Shirts 15.5 (e39) x 28

I bought these on eBay and seller indicated they were a 32" sleeve. In reality the sleeves measure 28". Seller will not take them back and it's not worth the effort to argue. They are both nearly new and condition is flawless. If there is anyone here with really short arms (and I thought my 32-33" sleeve length was short), please make me an offer.

Hey, what are the shirts body measurements? Thanks

I'll measure a bit later this evening. They are typical 15.5 US e39 shirts, except the sleeves were altered quite short. No alterations to body. Will get back later with measurements.

Yes... I know... Just got taken, but who knows, perhaps there is someone out there of such dimensions who could use 2 great shirts. I hate to just trash them and I would put them back on eBay and misrepresent the size. So, hopefully there is someone out there and hopefully I can recover a few $$

Heh, I already did a search on eBay to file away the same info.

I don't want to state the name (I'll leave that up to the original poster), but a search of Brioni and 15.5 in completed auctions turned it up for me.

Very Bill Clintonesque, that listing description.

That's fucked up. I hope you've filed a paypal complaint, and cancel your CC payment. Just for the principality of it all.

A 28" sleeve. I'm trying to picture that. I guess it could work for a well dressed double amputee! BTW: I just found the seller by the same method as cited above. He has a total feedback of 659 with a 100% score! I can't believe that he won't give you a full refund if you give him a well deserved negative feedback if he does not give you a return. You would think his 100% score is worth something to him! He does say all sales final and no returns, but a huge measurement error as he has done is a gross error on his part and warrants a 100% return. You definitely should give him a negative feedback.

It's a little embarassing, to say the least. I'm normally an extremely savy shopper. They looked great out of the box. I left positive feedback. Wife said she wanted to do a little touch-up ironing and then said "I think you better look at these sleeves before I iron these shirts." Now it certainly is possible that owing to a variety of physiological conditions that one could have the neck girth for a 15.5 but have 28" arms... but No... I'm really not going to file any complaints. Just seriously trying to find a home for two very nice pieces.

Maybe you can cut off the sleeves and turn them into one of these:

I'm sorry to clutter up your sale thread but I suppose someone might buy them for an obese but very discriminating 10 year old boy.

Have them converted to short sleeves?

I would get my tailor to make the windowpane check into a short sleeve shirt.
