Since winter is just around the corner, I just want to post about a Scottish weaver that forum member Giona Granata and I found. They do both hand knitted or handframed shetland wool sweaters.. and best of all, you can order a bespoke sweater to your measurements and specifications.. and the price is really quite good. Giona had ordered a vest and some woolen gloves and rates them highly.

OCBD, cords, and a Barbour, of course!

A Barbour would suit you nicely Fuuma! Perhaps tassel loafers as well?

I was just looking at the Guernsey this morning. Always liked that pic in Roetzel's book.

Anyone own one? I assume "add 4" to your chest size" has some flexibility.

Hahaha, surely.

I'm not trying to be an ass or anything, just saying I like the sweaters but don't see how they'd fit with what I wear...I'd love to see some outfits with these though...

Another interesting one, made from naturally black/grey wool:

Looks like a shetland, but is in fact a tighter, warmer weave. They also run small, so if you're between sizes, trade up.

I received my Spirit of Shetland sweater today. Tried it on, fit is very nice...neither too small nor too baggy. It's technically a Christmas present, so I'll have to wait 'till tomorrow to post pics and a review.
