What I was wondering too. If Connemara hadn't said they were Handgrades, I would have been certain that they were the Connaught model (a "bench grade" C&J), what with the soles stitched aloft, the stamped gold emblem inside (rather than the impressed one you see on Handgrades), the exact stitching pattern of the Connaught, and what looks like the shape of the C&J 236 last. It's true that the Whitehall is very similar in overall appearance, but these do look like Connaught-level shoes made for Barneys.
