Does anyone still buy Coca-cola in glass bottles?

I've always prefered the taste of any soda from a glass bottle as opposed to a can or plastic bottle, but I find the price difference to be great enough to deter me from buying. How about you guys?

I would rather have it from a glass bottle. Its funny thought, cans or plastic is more expensive than glass in a lot of other countries that sell coke or pepsi. But of course you have to take the glass bottle back..so thats why its cheaper

I don't. I never buy soda outside of fast-food chains anyways. I buy ketchup in a glass bottle though.

I can't remember the last time I saw pepsi/coke in a glass bottle.

Of course, I don't really drink soda very often, but when I do it's either root beer or cream soda . . . which I always buy in glass bottles.

You can get it in most of the SW. People enjoy it because it's made with actual sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup.

I like cokes in glass bottles. I think they have a different taste in the glass and I prefer it over cans or plastics. Plus, it's fun to have a coke in a glass bottle!

As I don't drink high fructose corn syrup, the illegal mexican coke in glass bottles is the best. real sugar FTW.

I prefer Mexican Coke, it rules. And why is it illegal? Shit Walmart sells them now.

My grandparents live in a sleepy Adirondack town, and there's an ice cream parlor/restaurant there that used to serve Coke in glass bottles. I recall being given a few dollars by my grandpa when I was 10 or 11; it was promptly spent on a brownie sundae and an ice-cold Coke. Lamentably, the owner of the restaurant was stricken with cancer and gave the business to his son and bitchy Norwegian daughter-in-law. The sandwiches are still out of this world, but with the fall of the first-generation proprietor came the end of Coke in glass bottles. I'm getting teary-eyed just thinking about this.

I can never find coke in glass bottles unless i'm at some kind of retro place. But i think it does taste best out of bottle.. then an Ice cold can.. I prefer not to drinkit out of the plasic bottles.. i think it tastes weird.. Do you think Coke, from say Mcdonalds, taste different from a bottle? is it better?
