Allen Edmonds Lace-Up Boot (straight tip) – Black Calf 8.5 D – NWOT

BOOTS SOLD For sale is an Allen-Edmonds lace-up boot in black Eversnow calf. This straight-tip boot is leather lined and has a Poron insole. Details of the boot are as follows:
  • Size 8.5 D (made on AE #1 last)
  • New without tags (no box)
  • NOT a factory second AE shoe/boot
  • No foot imprints inside boot
  • Boot has been tried on, walked around on carpet
  • Outsole 11 7/8 inches long by 3 15/16 wide
For comparison, my AE chukka boots are 5 inches from base of heel to top of boot. These boots measure 6 7/8 inches. Please PM me with any questions. I can send you additional pictures as needed. Asking $80 shipped to the continental USA. Payment via PayPal to a CONFIRMED USA address.

Eversnow calf preceded AE's current antibes calf and was much nicer in my opinion. It's not corrected grain, if that's what you were curious about.

Oh man, why did AE discontinue their lace up boots? Those look beautiful. Think there's a chance they'll be brought back with the current popularity in boots?

AE seems to be trying to market to the sartorially challenged dotcom millionaire or venture capitalist crowd (ie no boots). While Alden seems to be marketing to the eccentric old money who owns a ranch and still smokes weed crowd (ie plenty of boots).
