LK, aren't you assuming that your vintage Huntsman suit would be completely unharmed by the accident? That's not totally likely...

It is hard to imagine LK in any kind of plebeian accident, like being hit by a hyundai. I could see LK throw himself in front of a Hispano suiza or a Talbot lago even a Bugatti. Other accidents like his carriage falling into a ravine or his constellation crashing, maybe even hitting an iceberg with his clipper are far more likely to occur in LK's dreamworld. The orchestra would play on ofcourse while the ship is sinking, and LK would caress his collection of sterling silver cufflinks once more while gently drowning in a sea so cold that it immediately numbed his third leg.

I can't believe you guys are taking this in such a flip manner. Just think how sorry you'll be when you get involved in some street accident with an unfortunate acne-prone 17 year old's used Honda and your new bespoke Chan or Dege & Skinner torn, Edward Greens horribly scuffed beyond sin.

LK, I must say I am a bit disappointed by this. I thought you understood the importance of insouciance. Telling some medic to not cut your clothes seems rather petit bourgeois.

When you go down, you must do so in style, and that includes sacrificing your vintage Huntsman, if needs be, without batting an eye. Even if you cry on the inside.

is your handle name "Fritz"

after the famous chess program?

No. I wish I had a good reason for that name, but I don't. I registered under that handle over at AAAC, so when I migrated to SF I took it with me. I wish I was as passionate about something as you are about decadent shoes, then I could get a screen handle that actually means something
