Jantzen turnaround times

There's been some grumbling recently on the turnaround time between orders and receipt of shirts from Jantzen. I don't *need* more shirts but thought I would experiment with a couple of new stripes for casual wear. September 13th, 2004 I placed an order for Stripes 365 and 411 and yesterday (September 27th, 2004) I received my shirts. So kudos to Ricky on customer service...

Don't get me started. I placed an order in early July. No response to my initial email, and no word on when it might be done. Over two months of waiting. I'm just hoping that my patience is worth something when the shirt arrives.

I figured it out - Ricky hates Americans. Sure, we end up waiting several months, while the Canadian gets his shirt in two weeks. This post, is of course, sarcastic.

I've found the turnaround times to be very helter skelter. For example, my first shirt ordered in February arrived 5 weeks later. My second shirt -- same thing. My third order for 10 shirts took 3 months. I ordered on June 11 and got it the second week of September. I didn't check the post date on the package (it was sent to a different address on the west coast, which may have explained something). Strangely, my brother had ordered a shirt in early August (a single shirt) that arrived BEFORE my 10 shirt order did. By the way, it is always worth the wait. I was wearing my Chan suit -- absolutely stellar customer service there, by the way -- a Jantzen shirt, Borrelli tie, and EG/RLPL Whittakers today, and the Jantzen shirt was the one thing that got compliments from people.

I just received an order of four shirts in just over two weeks.  This is a stark contrast to a previous order of one shirt placed in May that arrived in July.

Yep, my last order took about about two weeks, I think. Perhaps the influx of local customers has dropped off, for whatever reason - is it a seasonal thing? Haven't heard about my current order, but we'll see...

Finally ... some advantage to being Canadian...

I ordered one shirt on 2. Sept 04 and got the shirt today (29. Sept 04) -> Less than 4 weeks is excellent.

I think one shirt orders will be turned around quickly. More than that... I ordered a shirt early August and it arrived ~4 weeks laters. I recently put a 4 shirt order in and have heard nothing, but understanding the process, don't mind the wait as I don't really need the shirts right now.
