Loafer Suggestions?

Does anyone have any recommendations on a nice pair of loafers I can buy? I have been looking around but haven't found any nice ones this season. I think hey are all hideous. I am looking for a nice pair that I can slip into and kick around in. I'm a guy in my mid-20s.

Thanks.

some nice loafers are by salvatore ferragamo, you can find some coming nordstrom sale this christmas for perhaps around $299 or so which is a good price.

for younger adults like you , sometimes a label like gucci is fun to wear.

make sure you get a good discount price on the guccis though, they are worth around $150 , at outlets you can get gucci loafers of various models for around
$229.
dont pay over 300, you 'll be stupid.

hope this helps.

Can you be more specific as to what you are looking for...or not looking for? Tassels, split-toe, slip-on, penny, moccasin, etc.?

I'm open to all styles really. So long as they are not hideous like all the loafers I have seen this season.

I remember Tods had a nice pair a few seasons ago, but the Tods loafers this season are hideous.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

RLPL Barksdale (if it's still available).

For a more traditional penny, Alden leisure handsewns.

Don't know if your budget stretches this far, but this is a nice pair at a good price for Edward Green:

Sorry but i dont think the rlpl barksdale is a kind of loafer to kick around in. I own a pair but i wear it with a jacket and pants. The kind of loafer i had in mind is something that i can wear with jeans or pants.

Here is one pair I like....Geox pebble grain driving loafers for $138 a pair. Very good quality and they look nice with contrast stitching and are comfy.

Available at Nordstrom.

If you are looking for something comfortable and little less flashy, I'd suggest Sperry's line of Tremont loafers. They have a few with and without tassels. I wear a pair of mine all the time to "kick in", if that means going to work.

I don't know if it's your style, but here's a casual penny I own by Alden (vibram sole):

I have these AE Steens. They work great for hanging out and when going out at night.

What about the C&J Merton? It's on the sleek 348 last.
