I do list the sizes on the drop down menu, and I list them in the US equivelants....I do the translations in the descriptions as well. For example, a UK 8 is listed as US 8.5 on auctions concerning 3B last and US 9 in other lasts. I prefer to provide the UK sizes as that is the stamp and I think it would be more confusing if a client received something with a different stamp than a different explaination. Also, about 30% of my business (and growing) is International where UK sizes are much more recognized than US sizes.

So, for any of my auctions where I am getting shoes that originated in the EU, I will list the PROPER TRANSLATION, AS I KNOW IT, in the listings description for the US market. The sizes in the listing title are US SIZES.

WHAT A DISASTER!!!!

GUYS, I SCREWED UP -

Kent was right, and I was not thinking clearly when I listed the Double Monk 3B fits.

I MEANT to ADD 1/2 size, but in reality I SUBTRACTED 1/2 size in the suggested fits. Next time I won't try to outsmart myself.....I was just trying to make it easy but now I am afraid I might have really caused a problem.

FOR ALL THOSE WHO WON THE 3B LASTED DOUBLE MONKS - PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT AND VERIFY THE FIT IS GOOD. IF NOT, I WILL ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR FREIGHT BOTH WAYS AND TAKE ANYTHING BACK THAT DOES NOT WORK.

I was thinking as a wholesaler, not a retailer - I thought

'is UK 9, so add 1 whole size for the US, means US 10....now they run 1/2 size big, so subtract 1/2 size so I'll list as 9.5'. Problem is I should have listed as 10.5!

I can't believe it....just used to telling retailers to scale down 1/2 size for 3B lasted shoes like the Lucca2.

I AM REALLY SORRY, BUT I WILL TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING THAT IS A PROBLEM....I'LL SEND MAILS OUT AS WELL, BUT THAT MIGHT TAKE A LITTLE WHILE AND I KNOW SOME OF THESE HIT TODAY. BESIDES, I DON'T THINK I HAVE BEEN HAMMERED YET ON-LINE, SO I THOUGHT I SHOULD START BY BEATING MYSELF UP FIRST......I AM REALLY SORRY GUY'S.

PLEASE TELL ME ASAP WHEN YOU GET THEM.

And to show how really crazy shoe sizing/last fittings can be - I just looked/traded mails, and it seems 6 out of 8 that delivered today are perfectly fine! I am really confused now, but you never know until they are on the foot, for sure.
