Gherardos rock! Not that your pics are bad but the shoes look a million times better in real life than on a computer.

But you can buy the gherardo's for 229 at the ferragamo outlet...

unless they dont have these sizes anymore

Yeah, but those are usually imperfect, correct?

And most of us don't live near a SF outlet. I would gladly pay $300 (and have) for Tramezza shoes in my size. In Canada, Harry Rosen sells them for $900-$1,000. I happen to have the Gherardo and love it and would highly recommend these to anyone who is a 10 or 11.

I visited the Orlando Ferragamo outlet a few weeks ago and only a few select shoes were on for $229; the standard outlet Tramezza price was around $400. So you have to get lucky to score them that cheap.

Isn't this considered poor etiquette in the B&S forum?

Most are not, the defective shoes are identified and reduced even more.

Yeah, all of a sudden people think you can stroll into any outlet, pick any Tramezza's you want, and pay $229. I have about 3-4 of Tramezzas, I paid over $300 for every single one. I've been going to the Ferragamo outlet for four years and this is the first time they had select Tramezza's on sale for $229, it is not an everyday or even seasonal occurence. The manager even told me that this was the first time she recalled ever putting those shoes on sale. It was a handful of models (regular outlet prices for Tramezza are $419 & 429) and good luck finding your size.

Someone mentioned that if you phone the various outlets, they will look up stock for you (and even ship it out?) -- this still takes a lot of luck and leg work to locate anything worthwhile and assumes you get a helpful SA on the other end. BTW, I tried on that Ferragamo melon plaid jacket but the wife put in a veto (even though it fit spot on).

so for the suede Gerado, I would be an 11 1/2 D just like any other shoe and not need to size up? has that been everybody's experience?

if somebody can source an 11 1/2 D or E in the suede Gerado I'd be very interested and would have bought these had they been a half size larger

Well even if they were $229, you can't blame a guy for trying to make a little money. As said before, not many people have access to SF outlets.
