FS: NWT Turist for Bergdorf Goodman reversible overcoat/raincoat size 42 $255

Will be puttin up this Turist coat on ebay tonight. It's navy cotton on one side, navy moleskin on the other. It's a well made coat. Retail is $995, my price is $255.

The turist has a 45 inch chest, sleeves are 25 inches from the shoulder seam, shoulders are 20 inches, the length of the coat from the top of the collar to the bottom is 39 inches.

the navy cotton side feels like it is (feels like the Allegri "techno fabric") but it does not say so, so I won't say so. I would assume that it is because I can only imagine the weight of wet moleskin I'll test it tonight.

I wear a 40R suit jacket. Do you think this coat would be too big on me if I wear it over a suit/blazer? Do people typically buy their overcoats a size up? Any information appreciated.

The L.Barbera I have in size 44 would fit you, measurements are:

The Barbera has a 50 inch chest, sleeves are 25.5 inches from the shoulder seam, shoulders are 20.25 inches, the length of the coat from the top of the collar to the bottom is 39 inches.

They are both about 25 inches from the shoulder seam and about 35-36 inches from the middle of the shoulders, which is the traditional sleeve measurement you find on shirts and stuff.

jacket does seem to be water resistant, as the water beads on the fabric and stays there for quite awhile:
