Hey guys,

I am looking for a super warm jacket preferablly a down jacket size XS/S. I prefer a jacket length that goes beyond the waist. As for the color a dark green would be nice or black. New or gently used would be great. Price limit is about 150.00. Please pm me or email me at izod8@hotmail.com

Thanks guys.

Try Lands' End. I bought my XS down coat from them a few years ago online, and it's the best quality winter coat I've ever had. Very warm and very well made. NOT stylish in any way whatsoever.

I live in the Chicago Area, and I have found the perfect jacket for me
has been a Waxed Cotton Barbour Beaufort. In the coldest of Chicago weather I don't feel a thing and the cool/weird thing is that when I go inside or have to walk a few hours in a store that I don't start sweating a lot either. I pair it with a scarf and hat and gloves and when I go inside I use the back pockets for storage. I have some overcoats in pure cashmere and camelhair and jackets in leather and none of them are as useful in cold weather. The Beaufort though is not the coat I would wear to a meeting with all clients because it does have a hunting look to it.

If you are a fan of Law and Order , I swear the Sam ?? character has
a Beaufort in all the cold NY weather scenes but I am not sure.

I do wear heavy wool flannel pants , so if you wear lighter weight wool pants in Winter maybe the border is a better model.

Look for UK made ones and that use actual suit sizings not L/XL ...

Sorry, I thought you wanted advice not an actual coat, I apologize. I will see if I have any extras that might help.
