Interest Check-Cashmere blend 3-piece sz.42.

I have a Cable Car Clothiers by Robert Kirk three-piece suit in grey chalk-stripe; I believe the fabric is some sort of cashmere blend as it's soft and rather refined. It is a size 42, with trouser size 34 or so.

The jacket is a desirable three button rolled to two.

It is in excellent condition with no issues.

Would anybody be interested? The price wouldn't be high--perhaps $100 shipped, I really don't know.

SOLD.

LK,

Dual vent or single?

And flat front or pleated pants?

Rnoldh,

It has a single vent and is flat-front with a coin/pocket-watch pocket.

Correction--the trousers currently have a size 36 waist, but there is about 3 inches of cloth to let out, or of course, taken in.

I am very interested. Do you have any pictures? What cut is the suit? What line/brand would this suit be comparable to? Forgive my ignorance, I am not familiar with Robert Kirk.

I will post pictures soon.

The cut is something of an Ivy cut but with more definition than most. The brand would be Southwick, I believe, and it is a high quality brand, probably on par with Canali, but I think with much nicer details.

I will buy if the measurements are ok.

Dear all, I will post the pictures and some general details here. Also, given the numbers of people interested, I think it would not be unfair to raise the price slightly to $185 shipped. International would be more. The suit is in exceptionally good condition with no problems. The jacket is partially lined, and the boutonniere buttonhole has never been opened. It has a very nice lapel roll and for an extra detail, a bit of pattern matching on the shoulders. Measurements: Jacket: Chest-42 inches Shoulders-19 inches Length from back of collar-33 inches Sleeves-25.25 with 1.5 inches to let out. Trousers: Waist-36 inches with about 2 inches to take out or in Inseam: 32 inches with turn-ups. The vest has a variable size as it has a back adjustor. ------ Pictures: Nice pattern-matching on the shoulders. Unopened buttonhole. Lovely lapel roll on the three-rolled-to-two.

I think my favorite part is the label. It's so pretty.

Yes, it's a rather attractive label, sort of reminds of Oxxford in ways.

Much better than those "minimalist" things now.

A beautiful suit from a store that remains ever faithful to its origins.

It's a real Trad piece, I think, but with nicer fabric.

- You've listed the suit as a 42 and the chest measurement is a 42? - What do you mean that the "Length from back of collar-33 inches"? Is the measurement from the top of the collar or the bottom?
