I would have been tempted by black bentons. But the tan color leaves me cold. And the only EGs I saw were those plain-toe oxfords, which seem unremarkable. That, and I'm afraid of the narrowness of RL EGs.

I did take a spec on a pair of Herends that may or may not fit. With free shipping, the downside is limited. Time to revise my sig...

Everyone should check the site regularly as GVH seems to add their inventory in a piecemeal fashion. Also, it you don't jump on something it usually gets moved to Ebay as the site is more of a staging area.

In previous shipments, did styles that sold out on the GVH site get replenished? I'm curious to see how much depth there is to the stock. The early auctions always go high, so if there's not many to go around, maybe now is the time to buy? (Of course, the contrapositive is that if there are quite a few, better deals likely will be had, at least on the C&Js.)
