I still maintain that his best role was in Silverado. No one knew who he was at that time, and it seemed like he was just trying to act and have fun. A lot of people will claim that the success of Dances with Wolves ruined Costner, because he started taking himself too seriously. He was also good in Bull Durham and in The Untouchables.
I'm not a big fan of the current incarnation of Harrison Ford. He used to be quite good, but he's someone who's acting seems to have gotten worse as the years have gone by.
I can't believe someone put Robert Downey, Jr. on this list. See Chaplin or Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang. He's very good in both.
