There is perma-death so if you die, you assume your choice of someone else in your base of survivors. The game gives an unreal sense of suspense. You can be out gathering supplies and get in a fight, but slowly you realize that a few more zombies that came to your location might change the sway of the fight. Do you stay and save your companions, or rush to the nearest vehicle and save yourself? It's also fairly fast paced and somewhat strategic, yet it's not a slow paced game.

I've been bugging people at work to play it, the one person who I convinced has since become obsessed with it.

I played it about a year ago, and it was still pretty buggy. My main dude got trapped on the porch of a house and wouldnt vault over the railing to get away. So pissed that happened. Also at that time your supplies would be consumed in real time, even when you werent playing the game, so I came back to the game after a couple days and my base was in shambles. I'm all for realism, but I don't like feeling tethered to the game.

I'll second the State of Decay recommendation. The game was cause for the first rage quit I've had since I was a kid when my main man Marcus was eaten. It still pains my soul.

Been playing a little bit of bravely default on my 3DS. Pretty good but the dialogue is kind of annoying, seems to take up a lot of time for every conversation they jam in there.

You're gonna be annoyed even more. I guarantee it.

Picked up Risk of Rain, Shadowrun Returns, and Marlow Briggs so far. Last one looks hilarious, blaxploitation GoW.

My Steam-sale PSA is that everybody should own Rogue Legacy because it's crazy value.

Been playing South Park: Stick of Truth lately and have to agree that this game is probably one of the best licensed games of all time. It honestly feels like you're playing the cartoon and the story is fantastic and hilarious. But most surprisingly is that the RPG elements are pretty enjoyable as well.

^ I`ve been meaning to get that because I know it`s a short RPG but I`m only really taking out my ps3 for TWD and TWAU. Have too many games on the ps4 and now I got the Xbox one and I`m kinda obsessed with Titanfall. The game never lets up and traversing as a pilot is amazing, with huge jumps, wall running  that you can combine it all to move around. And then you get your Titan which makes you feel invisible for a while (until/if you are destroyed).

Yeah, I'm hoping to finish it soon so I can move on to Watch Dogs.

I was really into Titanfall when it first came out but stopped playing since the DLC came out. Might pick it up again because of all the new updates (like Titan Burncards, etc.). But definitely, I think the multiplayer in that is the best I've played in any shooter since Black Ops. I'm pretty pumped for the Halo Anniversary collection this fall as well.

Watch dogs has been a bit of a letdown. I`m 10 hours in, maybe, but it hasn`t lived up to the hype. Some missions are great , Chicago  looks amazing and the hacking can be quite interesting but

I was expecting much more.

The casting audio on that stream is so bad...

I've heard bad things about Dota 2 caster audio but you would think for the championships things would be more organized.
