Definately pulling the trigger on MOH Warfigther - I've been loving the beta.

I've talked to a bunch of people regarding the control issue, and console is the way to go. Personally I have it on PC, but its the one game that actually benefits from use of a 360 controller.

Yeah good to know, my default has been PC for so long but I can see how the new control system would lend itself to a controller...

Hotline Miami is one of the best games I've played this year.

8-bit graphics as far as resolution, but it's very stylized. Imagine Miami Vice on LSD. The sound effects are modern and very well done. The music is amazing. There is not a single track in the game I wouldn't want to spend hours listening to. This is one of the coolest and stylish games I've played in a long time.

You're some guy in a seedy apartment who gets voice messages giving you vague instructions to kill people or retrieve something. You wear a rubber animal mask when you do it. The sounds of killing someone with a baseball bat, cutting them with a knife, or kicking their skull in make the game very gruesome despite the simple graphics.

The gameplay is a lot of fun. You have a lot of combat options, melee vs guns have their different advantages. The animal masks have their different perks. There is also a lot of strategy involved.

It's on Steam for $9.

These videos really capture the feel of the game

This is a good one:

Anyone playing Chivalry? I was pleasantly surprised by it, lots of fun and not too dominated by unlocks/ranks.

Anyone get the new Skyrim DLC? Played some last night. It's a lot more substantial than Dawnguard.

In case anyone is interested, Square is having a 50% off sale on their games online, including some PS1 and PS2 games (mostly FF). Here are the games I was able to buy:

http://store.na.square-enix.com/store/sqenixus/en_US/list/ThemeID.29853700/categoryID.57694500/size.169/startIndex.0/#

DS Chrono Trigger $9.99
PS1 Chrono Cross $7.49
PS1 FF Anthology (V and VI) $7.49
PS2 FF X $9.99
PS2 FF X-2 $7.49
PS3 FF XIII-2 $9.99
PS3 Tomb Raider Trilogy $7.49

Cheaper than buying them digitally, plus I get them in their cases. No taxes; free shipping.

Time to work off that backlog...

That is many hours of rpg gaming right there. Nice haul.

Played several good games recently:

Fallout New Vegas. I've had this since it came out, but just recently revisited it, finished it and played most of the DLC. The DLC really adds a lot to the game, and the game runs a lot better now after a few patches. IMO it's a stronger game overall than Fallout 3. Can't wait for Fallout 4.

Dishonored. Really great stealth game with an interesting setting and characters and some really cool mechanics. Kind of short but I know I will be replaying it eventually because of the variety of ways to fulfill missions.

Mark of the Ninja. Another fun stealth game in a 2d side scrolling platformer/beat em up style. Neat cartoon style art and very well done action. Short but ultimately worth the 15 bucks I paid.

Just got Sleeping Dogs today. Kind of a hong kong action movie version of GTA, albeit perhaps a bit more structured and more oriented towards hand to hand combat. Seems cool, although I basically just started. Also downloaded Fez, which I haven't played yet but seems exactly like the kind of thing I like.

Is there any RPG out there for Xbox 360 similar to ES3 (Morrowind) but dissimilar to Oblivion and Skyrim?
