Need some advice on a girl problem - Page 2

I just think you really do owe it to yourself to go out w/a few other girls, just to see how it is. If you're still thinking about this girl while you're out to dinner w/another, then you know where your heart is. Also, drop a couple lines to the girl at work about your date last night w/so-and-so. Maybe if SHE sees you're not willing to wait around forever, she'll get on her horse and start making things happen.

If she stays with him =  it means she is not much better than him... She seems to have no personality as you do not stay with someone because of other people think you will get married with him.
It's difficult to get out of a chronically abusive situation sometimes.  Just ask your parents.

Kiss her and convice her to live this guy (sic)
Stupidest f**king advice I've heard in a long time.
As a gay you have no such a problem but please try to understand other people who are not like you

That's a little bit uncalled for there, Chief.

Well .... LAG's initial insults weren't very helpful or mature either. Ernest only responded in kind.

LAG and Ernest: Not very civil on either part. Please knock it off. FYI Ernest, LAG is engaged to be married... to a woman...

Hahahahahaha. I love this place. In any other forum, I'd tell ernest to bring it on, but in deference to Steve, I'll desist. Now.

I'm curious to know, GQgeek, what -- if anything -- has happened in the weeks since your quandry developed. Having endured similar torment, I'd think that there'd be little lasting good that might come of the situation.  But, as the woman is young, perhaps she might muster the courage to act.  (By the way, where are her own family?  Can't they help her in any way?) Wishing each of you the best.
