Worked again on a neighbors 911. Here is a Picasa slide show with the results:

Great question. Swissol is ok for a carnauba wax (bit like Zymol) but I like the gloss and durability of a polymer sealant.

On this car I used Zaino products (www.zainostore.com) prepping the surface with about 2 hours of ZPC polish with Porter Cable and Makita buffers followed by Z5 and Z2 sealants and finished with Zaino Z8 spray sealant.

You'll want either Connemera or SoCal2NYC to do it. SoCal2NYC could wear his new Thom Browne daisy dukes.

I've always wanted to try that Zaino crap. Seemed like such a waste on my beatup Corolla. Why didn't you use the whole lineup? On the site there are a whole shitload of products that they offer. How long did the whole job take?

I did use the whole lineup. I washed it with Z-7 and put Z-16 on the tires as well. The leather had already been treated with Z-9 and Z-10.

I like Zaino since the whole line is among the best in every category. For carnauba waxes I like Pinnacle Souveran but carnaubas don't hold up as long and the new Pro version of Zaino has as much wetness and slickness as a fine carnauba does.

If you bring it to Georgia, sure. I usually charge $200-300 for first visit which is an all day event.

WHAT?! I thought this was a hobby? You shouldn't be charging people. I would have thought that just the pleasure of working on such a beautiful machine would be enough. :P

I gotta eat. It's really hard work so I feel like I need to have my time and materials covered. Besides, I need the cash for my audio hobby and the occasional pair of shoes.

I'm not really a car guy, but that's some very nice work.
