Bo Concept

Does anyone own a leather sofa or chair by Bo Concept? I am in the market for furniture and I picked up one of their catalogs at a local merchant. I wondered about the quality of the work, the leather, etc.

After checking out the Santa Monica store pretty thoroughly, I think most of their stuff is just OK. I would call it moderate quality. In the same price range, you might consider Roche Bobois or even Design Within Reach. Others may have more experience with owning some Bo Concept stuff, though.

I own a Bo Concept leather sofa and an armchair. They are about 5 years old and are holding up OK. I think the quality of construction and leather (dark reddish brown antique finish) is good for what I paid for it.

It is possible that Bo switched their supplier since I purchased my pieces. I also own a Bo wall unit and when I tried to purchase a matching coffee table a year after I bought the original piece the whole series was discontinued. I was able to purchase the coffee table from a different store so some of their furniture is not unique to their stores.

When I purchased the leather pieces they had swatches of different types of leathers which I assume would wear differently if durability is your concern. With small child and a dog my sofa definitely sees some wear.
