I wore the Lagerfeld bubble tie from the last round of "Amerikazin's" fashion tie selloff to work the other day; it was a big hit with colleagues and my students alike. That Versace V2 tie is pretty intersting, as well, but I don't know if I need to go pushing my luck with whacky ties...

Glad to hear the Karla Karliciousness was a hit! Please let me know their reaction to the Versace V2 as it's headed your way!

I'm not sure if this is kosher, but I saw somebody else do the same. Easily influenced, I guess this is a dangerous for me to be. All the same:

I'm interested in the Cerruti tie

And once again should activate PM.

(Cerruti tie)

Just to show my dedication in going above and beyond (and because it would make sense to finish off the running gag): Cerruti

Your dedication to attaining the ability to PM is quite admirable! Cerruti is SOLD!

It's odd, out of that lot I would have picked the Jaeger first. It's an interesting texture, with raised black polygons on the lighter background. In the UK, it's a well regarded brand though it hasn't managed to go 'global' like similar brands like Aquascrotum.

Aquascrotum! That must hurt!

Well I first became acquainted with Jaeger about a decade ago when there was a Jaeger boutique on the ground level of the infamous Watergate complex of Nixon fame. Anyone know if that boutique is still there? I remember some Eastern European supermodel-lookalikes working there who unduly influenced a number of purchases...

You're right -- this is a really nice tie and I'm not only shocked, but dismayed as well that it's still taking up room in my closet. And only $13 shipped to the UK! I think it would make a nice addition to your wardrobe, chobosquared!
