Close enough. Even though it's a hooded sweatshirt it's built like a tank.

@Fueco

I'll admit I've got a bit of a hoarding problem. No joke I've got like 5-10 of the SoundDocks that have the 30 pin apple connector. A few are only good for parts but I believe 4 of them work fine, but with the adapter to lightning the charging capabilities are lost.

This is the 2nd Wave I've thrifted. First one was Wave II, had issues and ended up being recycled. This one is the Wave III and from what I can gather so far works perfectly. Speakers work, tap on/off snooze functioning, screen is good, I'm happy. Knockoff remotes on eBay are like $4 from China, so if I don't mind waiting a few weeks for delivery might go that route. Will check the bay for one that is more local though. I find it funny that people don't even look up specifics on things like this. It's obvious someone plugged it in to test and then assumed it was broken because they couldn't get it to make any sounds, but a quick google check would have shown them how it functions and that it was indeed a screaming deal.

I know Bose is mediocre in quality when it comes to real audiophiles, but it does pretty good for my needs. And for the price of a fast food meal, I'll pick it up every time.

How's the return policy? That's a tough price not knowing if it works properly.

@HansderHund If you come to Minneapolis, I'd absolutely take a day off and drive you around to some shops.

SWEET!  Doraville, a touch of country in the city.  And only about 15 minutes from where I am right now.

If I can't test, I don't pick up unless it's special.

Man do I wish this was my find. A friend of mine goes thrifting a lot but isn't on the forum, and today this tumbled out of a shirt pocket. All stamped 18k.

Hopefully his taste in shirts was better than his taste in jewelry. In all seriousness though, sweet find.

Would you pawn that off or sell individually. I would have no idea what to do with jewelry.
