I don't know man, I saw a rather attractive woman wearing a pair of the Kanye boots a couple weeks ago and I gotta say, they actually looked pretty awesome.
Edit: not $850 awesome, but still...

Thrift Fit and Brag

I bought several pairs of shoes at an estate sale a while back. A number of them fit me and I was trying to figure out whether to list them or keep them. I forgot about them and saw them again this weekend in a box in my garage.

All of these will need a little polishing and or cleaning.

This first pair is the only pair like these that I have ever seen. I don't think I can bring myself to sell them since they fit.

Vintage Florsheim Imperial SUEDE in my size (11.5 Narrow) with V Cleat and 5 nail sole. I have never seen Suede Longwing Gunboats

Thrift fit (I'm not wearing the right socks, but I just tried these on again and these were socks I had on today).

More pics:

More thrift fits from the same sale:

I'm kind of a sucker for vintage Longwings. I thought the color of these was cool and they fit. But, I may decide to sell them because i have WAY too many shoes.

These are Towncraft (JCPenney). Back in the day when this style gunboat was popular, someone made these for JCPenney. I'm not sure who, but they are heavy and sturdy like Florsheims or Hanovers. Again my Size 11.5B

I'm also a sucker for Saddle Shoes again my size (11.5C)

The insole says Lloyd's (I think), but I can't find any other indication of the maker. I have never heard of Lloyds.

Hi everyone.
I haven't posted much lately.... reading everything every other day or so though.

^ Not the best feeling about the Versace tie. Pic of the wide interior liner and the skinny end black tag?

#chanelgate

Speaking of Versace, did anyone else see Super-Bowl-Bound-Quarterback Cam Newton wearing his Versace Pants?

I simply cannot undo this song playing in my head anytime someone mentions Versace.

The game is all fucked up now.

I swear, the people who buy my heaviest items are always the farthest away. Seattle, Alaska, whatever.

Does anyone else think the double rider would be drastically improved if that waist belt disappeared? Too much hardware for a simple man like me.

You try this crap in Texas they'll rip your arms off. Last time I was in Dallas thrifting. I walked up to a new rack pulled off three skeets and the store worker came up to me and said that I wasn't allowed to touch anything on the rack until she hangs it up to give everybody a fair chance so She made me put them back. So I was just fallowing her around the store being a shadow for 30 min picking up everything she was pissed. I've noticed some squatters at some of my stores more recently they just kick it in the furniture section all day and wait for things to come out and strike. There only after furniture and electronics luckily.

It's weird, when they roll racks out here, no one really seems to be paying attention. I've cruised over and taken a quick look before, usually saying something like "let me see if I can help you out a little" and they are always fine with me looking. *shrugs*

Haha that's like the weigh and pays here. You'll have dudes who are there 9am-9pm every single day. 90% of them buy scrap metal and paired shoes only. It's like the ******* twilight zone in there. Dudes are flat out ******* aggressive. I've had guys grab **** out of my hands.

Like I said, I never really see anyone acting really aggressive around here. Probably a good idea to mind your manners anyway. Noticed that they guy in front of me in line last week had a S&W pistol strapped to his waist and he definitely was not law enforcement.
