This one is going to be tough. Pretty sure the guy knows what he has. It's a full suit. Mad Men style, probably from the 60's but in excellent shape. Jacket has triple patch pockets. I think it was a 42. First time I felt Vicuna and man....the stuff feels like nothing else.

You guys will be the first to know if he decides to part with it.

Wait, what!? I'm getting my popcorn ready.

well now that I look at the details closer the problems I see are.

1. Tag is at bottom of coat and not attached to top coat hanger.

2. The interior upper label is for the 2011 onward models that's why I was saying to check the hologram. "BUT" the hang tag is that of the 1990's it should look like an outdoor scene of the northern lights. With these two labels being from different generations it would most definitely be suspect. The hang tag should be rounded at the bottom to match the interior age not flat and that generation there was about 5 tags stacked together in total when new. Now there is only one tag and theyve moved everything to interior tags. The jacket should have ykk zippers no exceptions. The one thing that both cg AND moncler take the most time in and pride themselves on is there exterior logo patches. Just like last week when someone had the moncler the patch alone was a huge turnoff. There patches are perfect in quality and placement always. The patches alone will speak for there authentication. Extremely good embroidery for both companies on there patches they will be tight and clean.
Thanks, good info there.
it has 6 page hanging tags, it has YKKs, the patch looks as good as all the real ones i've looked up. I'm going to ask canada goose themselves if they can help confirm authenticity and hope i have better luck this time than i did with paul & shark, who would not answer my question 'are any paul &shark items made in China?' but instead said they would have to see pics first, so i sent the pics but never got an answer, even after reminding them to answer.

Seems she was doing the same thing at her job PRIOR to Goodwill too?

Haaaaa that was august.
Interesting article on the goodwill scandal unfolding here.
Turns out that the CEO instead of running the place out of HQ chose to do it out of a nearby storage facility.hmmmmm I wonder what could be at that facility.I wonder how many valuables were scooped up.
And now it turns out they also wiped the website of all financial reports and details.this is gonna be messy....

I went back for the Anderson & Shepperd. With a better view of the tag.

I was easily persuaded.

Also got around to cleaning up that Bianchi a bit and discovered they just painted over the gorgeous chrome forks.wtf Bianchi!
I actually read stories where whole bikes were chromed underneath back in the day sadly this is not one of them.still cant wait to see the sun shine on that in summer.

My around town ride is a beater Fuji that is full chrome underneath but with cream paint on top. They lugs, fork tips, rear triangle, and middle of both the downtube and seat tube are exposed.

Thrifting in Minnesota has become more and more popular.

This photo was taken by me this week as a new rack came out
at the Salvation Army in Bloomington, MN.

Not the overwhelmingly popular Goodwill Minnetonka or Hopinks
but Salvation Army.

4th woman not shown in photo, rack had just been rolled out.

Notice the ole shopping cart block trick =)
