Alright boys and girls... It's December 26th, and most thrifts are open again. Let's mop up those "end of the year rich guy tax write off" donations.

Historically, I've done VERY well around this time of year.

Cheers!
Yes this is true the next couple days are always good. I'm already out waiting in the car for my first spot to open and drinking my eggnog latte. My company gives us paid time off as holiday until January fourth and I spent most of it thrifting cause it is always really good.

@klay49 Thank you for the gift everything will fit perfect. The suit fits spot on just need the sleeves down about a inch .

Great, my paranoia level for Vicuña sitting on a rack waiting for me has just been raised to Elmo. Heading out to thrift...

Anyone know what I'm looking at here?
No tags except care & fabric, and all 3 shirts have the same tag...but no brand.

Huge shoutout to @rhz5001 for these shoes! I only ask about 1-2 things/year on this board, and I was quick to the draw on these. Incredibly fast shipping and he cut me a great deal, including a couple of bonus ties. Thanks again!

Accidentally thrifted this made in Italy PRL corduroy blazer a couple weeks ago without realizing it was SH length sleeves. Trying it out anyways with a sweater under it that has sleeves that are slightly too long cuffed over the ends to extend the length.

What do you gents think? Is it crazy enough to work w/ a black belt and black shoes of some sort? I think it looks a bit ridiculous, but not horrible.

Thank you appreciate still trying to get a better grasp on things

Sunny south Florida 86 for Christmas, hat was just for pic and I remove it unless I'm in a common area.

Where in south Florida?

I think you answered your own question. Not sure how ridiculous it looks, but you're going to feel pretty aware & self-conscious about it. I'd say sell it and use the money to find something that fits a bit better. Beyond that, I personally hate black with tan/khaki. On the plus side, it's a cool cord jacket that someone will definitely want.

Well, after some heart attack inducing basketball that ended the right way, time to hit those post christmas thrifts!

Don't forget about the Nordstrom sale too. A bunch of Yohji stuff in their online sale.

Not thrifted, but we picked up this sweetie at the local shelter a few days ago. Lab/German shepherd mix (maybe more)...

Do you care about built quality or details?

If you are not worrying about having sick fadez, I would wash them once a week or so as long as you don't tumble dry them. You should be ok.

If you wash, make sure you're on the cold cold setting and as delicate as your machine goes. Mine has a hand wash cycle, but I shrunk my Gustins on the "warm cold" setting.
