Love that talbott. Who makes for them?

Some weekend finds...

Allen Edmonds in my size.
(Brewster on left, Marlow on right)

Left behind black pair too.

Usually leave behind Hugo Boss especially if older but this one is dual vented and fits. (Most I find are unvented).

Burberry London hardly ever shows up here so grabbed this even though 3-button. It is my size so trying to decide if 3 button works for me of if I send it to the Bay. I like the pattern. Made in USA.

Found a resin hanging/standup garment valet. I'll use this.

Only had time for a quick trip while donating some furniture for my sis, but it went well.

I've only found one, it was from Coppley.

Was either half canvassed or fused, can't remember.

I remember it was a tough sell despite being a nice fabric. Not too many people searching for Robert Talbott clothing, I guess.

The one I found was a Copley.

Here's the tag on the Robert Talbott.

It was right next to the Isaia on the rack. My heart jumped as I thought it might be a brioni. tongue.gif

Hubby trying out a Bonobos roll-collar shirt. This is a stylistic reach for him. Usually he only wears polos. Small steps, eh?  Since it suits him so well, he's keeping it.

A little Ralph Lauren Polo history 😊:
"The biggest logos became a semaphore for social status: the cross flag, the crown. The skiier jacket became the most sought-after Polo piece. It accrued a nickname – the suicide jacket – partly because of the nature of off-piste skiing but also because people would kill for it."

Sorry fellas. Imma have to bow out of the thriftmas festivities this year. My paypal is dry. And times is harsh on the wallet economy.
Would love to make somebody's thriftmas day.
But will instead have to settle for enjoying seeing what you all send eachother. blush.gif
My humblest apologies .
