So, in other words, there are precious few clothing brags (and even fewer eBay listings). However, there are days like today that remind me of his strength (and razor-sharp wit). My father has been a chain smoker for over 60 years. No... he has no intention of quitting. Why would he? He asked a nurse this morning about a nicotine patch. She curtly replied, "Mr. Benson, you have COPD and you are STILL smoking?" Without missing a beat, he glared at her and said, "Ma'am, you are obese. Are you STILL eating?" Love this man... I only wish that I were half the man that he is.

A man's man. My thoughts are with you and yours. Another thank you from me, for his service.

Who loves cats?!

We all do! (Click to show)

We all do (except a certain Captain who I am not sure is actually a Captain but we'll let the authorities sort that out).

The kitten who showed up on my deck in May, apparently abandoned, age approx. 6-7 weeks.  Was free, but after several rounds of shots, not so much...and still have neutering etc.  Weighed less than a cheezeburger.

And look at him now - he's a brute and could probably kill me in my sleep if he wanted to.

And to amuse myself, I do this:

That 1000 yard stare is troubling.  Be careful dude .

In all seriousness, thats awesome.  I was in Colorado for some job training thing last month and there were cats everywhere on this running/biking trail.  I will be adopting some kind of pet in the near future :)

In New Hampshire for a few months training after taking a new job. Decided to hit all of the local thrifts 1 per day at lunch, first stop I decided since I forgot my gym bag I wanted to pick up a cheap one and saw this sitting there with an old guy sorting through the luggage. He pushed this out of the way to get to a beat up Samsonite whose zipper was broken. I picked it up all stoked and over the intercom was "Reminder, all luggage is ½ off today". Looks almost new has a light scratch on the front. $5.99

Yeah, he's all "I've seen some stuff, man, in that 6 or 7 weeks I was outside.  Don't go out there.  And I'm thinking of slashing your jugular tonight, just so you know."

Then he practices his slashing techniques on the drapes and blinds and pillows.  Going to replace a bunch of stuff after he calms down a bit.

Hope you can get a stray / shelter animal.  They're the best kind, and seem truly thankful that you saved them.

I won't derail any further.  After this, that is - pics of the outdoor strays / ferals I also take care of:

The male who was porking all the females - need to get him de-balled:

And the two females, who used to like each other but not so much now - had them both spayed because they were dirty little sluts:

Finally starting to pick up around here. Found my first true ERDL piece (field jacket), 3 pairs of Vietnam-era cotton sateen OG-107 pants, and a couple other slightly interesting things...

Vintage LL Bean pullover jacket thing

Huge hardback Tory Burch book in slipcase, with signature card!

Vintage Jordan t-shirt

Vintage Macca New World Tour hat

Book and pullover N/A, get at me on the MJ shirt or hat.

100% Vicuna from the before time. Needs some TLC, might be a family heirloom when I'm done.
