Is this flippable or something?

I did some quick Googling and didn't find a match but apparently those groups change up their symbolism frequently as people catch on to what they mean. I wouldn't mess with that- I would just cut the patch off, trash it, and give the jacket back to Goodwill.

How did this automatically get associated with racism/nationalism?

Google "red background white cross" and one of the first things to pop up is the Nights Templar

Edit: OK, I just googled KKK Cross and it is similar, but the KKK Cross has a distinctive red mark inside a black box in the middle, its definitely not that. List it as "Knights Templar" (or something) and you're fine.

Also, going to drive up to Cincy for my first REI garage sale on the 1st. If anyone else is thinking of going hit me up!

I always mean to go but never make it. Might be fun to do a SF meet up.

You will not regret it, I would argue the best shoes/boots you can buy for $119 (and they're US made on top of it).

If you might just go for a new pair, I would do it soon. The last couple years they have been on a few month back order during the fall and winter months.

Right on, I've been seeing a few pair on eBay reasonably priced so I should act soon before prices are inflated

Bought a pair of seconds of the Bean boots with the cloth ankles off eBay a few years back and I love them. Just remember to size down because the are made to wear with thick wool socks.

Yeah, shell. Not Horween, but shell. They've used shell from various South American and Japanese tanneries, and some of the early batches especially had quality control problems. I ordered a pair of shell PTBs a few years ago that were just like this - looked fine at first, but as soon as I wore them, the color started coming off in the ripples and they seemed very dry. I returned them.

I'm in Louisville, too. If your friend is in Lexington, @AlanC hasn't been around here in the thread in a while, but he lives there and might be able to help.

Still getting pictures taken to get caught up, but recent finds...

Gucci sterling

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I thought for sure these were legit, but for some reason I question them. Any Gucci guys have any info?

I know nothing of sneakers, but I grabbed these without hesitation. They looked vintage, had their box, and were made in Austria, something I'd never seen before. They sold in 5 minutes to an Adidas seller, so I think I must have underpriced them. Sneaker guys, any idea on how rare they might be?
