Picked up a pair on bean boots in March, reeked like cigarette smoke so I left them outside to air out, didn't realize how long it had been. These fuckers hold up really well

When I was at the "nice" TJX yesterday, also went to the Saks Off Fifth downstairs, and they had some insane Brioni pieces...woven leather bomber jackets marked down to $4k (from $15k), and some lamb leather jackets.  Tried one on.  Drool.  Interestingly, they also sell used stuff there - Burberry and Hermes bags and scarves &c.  Encased in perspex boxes.  All over-priced, all there since they opened a few months ago...but nice to look at.  Weird tho that a Saks sells used stuff.

If any of you gents are located close to Kentucky? Can you shoot me a pm? I got a friend over there who could use a thrift sensei.

Okay, this is pretty wild...

Went for a bike ride tonight like usual because it's trash night. Went by one house with interesting looking boxes by the curb and peeked in... Holy crap. Immediately ride home, get car and proceed to load everything in.

Just unpacked it all. 28 unopened bottles of wine from between 1999-2008 and 14 unopened bottles of liquor and mixers.

I think some of it might be older, maybe rare?

I'd have to see the wine bottles. NO idea on the bourbon, the Hennessy does'nt look super special at a quick glance.
