it's been a thin gruel out there lately.

but i did run into a decent vintage bag:

it's inside out fendi: nylon on the outside and calf on the inside.

also: i've included a secret message - see if you can spot it!

Funny you mention that. He's been with me when I've had most of my big hauls over the past year and a half or so.

Wonderful!
Make sure you get a double-double, timbits, and a canadian maple at my joint while you're visiting. You will crave these things for the rest of your life.

I've come to the conclusion that the chances of me thrifting a really nice suit in my size are quite slim.  I found something OKish once.  So I was wondering if maybe I could fund a purchase (probably at a nice price by @SpooPoker, @Brianpore or some of the other thrift masters) by flipping my way into the $$$.

Unfortunately, I'm a total noob. I can recognize somethings, but not enough to make a lot of headway on my goal.  So the following is what I saw at GW today.  Didn't cop anything cause I'm just not sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I think all but one of these were orphans. Oh, and sorry for the blurry photos my cellphone seems to have lost the ability to close focus.

Nordstrom cashmere blazer, on this one I was very tempted by the $7.50 price, as I thought i could use it to polish my shoes if it was total trash. One sleeve had some damage, and the ends of both cuffs were a bit worn.

Brooksease???

Is this the Tommy Hilfiger I should be looking for?

There are a few of these but all orphans.

The material seemed interesting, but I've never heard of the label.

I wouldn't wear this, but certainly interesting.  Made me think of that show "Zoo".

Tempted, but its a double breasted orphan.

Most would have been $15 or less. What do you all think?  Thanks.

^^ What size are you? Im sure I have a suit. smile.gif

All of those are good passes - except that Polo tie. Its probably a $25 sale at best but I would have been thrilled personally to find that. Going back soon? biggrin.gif I just have a Polo fetish.

The nordstrom LP cashmere if it was in minty shape I would have grabbed - those are $50 sales at least in the fall.

Cross post from BSTW thread, ignore if not interested in a trade.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

LOoking to trade these (sz 32/unhemmed about 34) for something very similar or exactly the same in size 33/32 or 34/32 (would be willing to shorten if the inseam is longer than 32)

I'm really pissed the CEO one is too small on me.
RL jacket is purple velvet and I am heartbroken its too big on me.

Billy Joel shirt already gone
Anyone know anything about the jeans?
Sulka braces are exceptional.

Wow! Great haul.
I wish I would have found that purple Polo. I'm a 42L (and a big fan of a certain team that wears purple)! I recently dyed a pair of thrifter vintage nubuck chukkas purple to wear to a game this fall.
