Had this happen with a current POW check Zegna suit a year or two ago. Tore the store apart. Nothing. Asked an employee to check the racks in the back. She said "I remember putting that suit out last night, it had the pants hanging with it". ffffuuuu.gif

@silverwarebandit : Those Peal BB are gorgeous. If i wasnt saving money for a pair of boots i would snap em up. I did help myself to your leftover though.

Just 3 finds today but a good day.

Pure ca$$h orphan or a SC . Works either way.

What do you guys think about these? I need a legit check. They were cheap so I took a chance. I'm leaning towards fake. They actually are a pretty nice shoe real or not. Google doesn't produce anything. The bottoms look weird and I can't find any background on that specific green label. I guess they're a boat shoe? Thanks in advance gentlemen.

Fellas, (and lady) i am back on the horse. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
And omfg it feels good to be digging through boxes of old cameras, flipping cd's, and checking designs.

Had an awesome day, so will narrate.
"Drove around for a bit, looked in a shoe store, they had no air max's my size. (11 if ya'll find any) the local shop had a shit ton of Jordans. But no max's. Walked into a massive chain flip shop and BAM! Put my hand on these, and said "sold!!"

Dude must have bought them, left them in the closet. Found they got some mould (common here) and sold them to the flip shop. The mould isn't bad.

Thought "fack yisss" and drove to Autobacs, for a can of the spray method

Got to the checkout, grabbed my money, the dude says "got a points card?" Sure do. Then he says, "brah, you got a whole lotta points, wanna use them to buy this can? -yiss sir, i do. satisfied.gif
Got it for FREE! Zero dollaz out the checkout. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
So by now, hyped as fack, driving a new way back to my hood. Find a flip shop. . . . Oh mama, lord have mercy.

Wait for it. .

Books 1 to 11 of "Wangan Midnight"

Then went over to the cd's in search of some "big hair" 80's/90's rock. But this? -

Grabbed me some X-japan,

And omg this. . . Is this a Cd of the voice actors from "inital D" doing Karaoke??????!!!!!! bounce2.gif

*faints briefly*

So now i'm cruising in my thrifted whip, through the Japanese countryside, listening to Rick Astley, in my fresh max's, on my way to look at thrifting a house for 80k. stirpot.gif

Today was a good day. #Thriftlife.
Enjoy yourselves out there.

sorry for the off topic, need some help

i get this Quai De Valmy jacket (by seraphin as you know) today, and want to make sure the fabric.

but the inside tag has been cut,and the out tag says "AG NYMPHE BRILLANT + KANGOUROU" which refers to fabric i think.

so is AG NYMPHE BRILLANT a type of lamb? i can't find the answer on google translator and search.  but the touch feels like lamb skin.

and the lining is real kangaroo? unimaginable for me

Got some comments on here earlier about the shoes I'm picking up being too trashed. To continue that theme, here's a recent (e-)thrift find :D

Sold as unknown maker but I recognized them from the Loake 1880 series.

After some TLC (Click to show)

Pretty happy with how they came out, especially that I managed to straighten the sole completely (pics are w/o trees). The leather has an insane patina, looks like museum calf in the sun. Too bad they both have som minor cracking.

Also picked up some shorts for an upcoming FL trip, nwt PRL and some Gant patchwork madras (not pictured)

Offwhite, side adjusters, split waist, pleats, tons of MOP-buttons. Not quite sure how to wear, but I love them.
