Potentially epic and oddball find imminent.

Getting my weird oddball find in before Spoo crushes this thread.

Tried one of those tiny little assistance society thrift stores in an old house. Only thing I found was this 2008 NBA All-Star Game tie. Cheaply made in China, no collectible value whatsoever- I don't care, I love it.

Picked these two up this morning. The chair was $19.99 so I figured why not. Couldn't find any markings on it so I have no idea about quality/maker, probably nothing special.

The Hilfiger shirt was six bucks and a size small so I was pretty excited to find it.

Thanks for the messages everyone. We're now on the road (we just passed Sinclair, WY heading west on I-80). Kona is having fun so far.

Very appropriate for my find too

First store hit in a very long time. This weekend is all about operation backlog. Would appreciate a legit check on these since they're returnable.

Savers in Fairview Park?

Yup. I have a love/hate relationship with that place. I've gotten some of my best hauls there, but most of it is so overpriced.

I do believe those BBC jeans are real. Also made in Japan is what you want for sure. I left em because they were too not over the top. If that makes sense. I too agree they're way overpriced. I believe that's Savers in general.

@Fueco I'm so sorry for your loss.

Some recent finds

Levis heads - what is this? Type I selvedge cinchback, big E, but the care tag is japanese? @leftofthedial said it might be Levis Japan

Trippy jacket from '71. Probably poly but it was under $3

lbm 1911 with amazing woven fabric - This jacket came from a store I've never found anything worth buying, for five years. Persistence pays off foo.gif

I ran into @rhyme the other day. He shows me some trousers and asks if I've seen the jacket. I had picked it up a couple days prior and the pants finally come out. Rhyme being a cool dude hands them to me without missing a beat cheers.gif

Can we talk about this jacket? I almost always skip on oxxford with this tag but no way was I leaving the store without this. Its got some condition issues - the velvet has worn away in some areas. Has anyone ever attempted to repair that kind of damage?
