Today/yesterday

Love these tapestry jackets.

Thanks eBay valet, good listing. Says NIB and their pictures are shit, but they look right to me.

Aren't they supposed to have red stitching on the back?
I thought the moonrocks had silver/gray stitching. It's a return if they're not right, I couldn't spend too much time looking at other examples because they'd just gone up.

Well, time to stop watching that auction haha

Edit: from what I can tell, the Pirate blacks and the turtle dove had red stitching. The Oxford tan and moonrocks had silver/gray

well my 5 minutes of internet research says one of the releases had red stitching the rest/other one had gray. Someone who knows more than me can help authenticate them though.

This could have been a store fixture. I had a few very similar to this in my department when I worked for Ralph. We would put a bustform on top dressed in a particular grouping. Then, per corporate instructions, we would place related neckwear, socks, or pocket squares in the mandatory open drawer. They wanted people to see the Ralph Lauren name on the drawer to lend authenticity to the display.

Haha, not too worried about it. She posts 10-15 dumber ones daily.

Damn does she take forever to ship though.

Man I admire you guys finding Linda gems. Takes patience.

Finally something worthwhile.

My best Linda find was a Kiton jacket which had just been listed and misdescribed. Linda cancelled my bid and corrected the listing...argh.
